Charming, Old Style Casino Hotel, a little bit of calm in Downtown Las Vegas

Lots of Free Parking. Loved the old style Wood and Stained Glass styling of this downtown hotel. Generous sized room with enormous comfy bed. Liked the attractive wooden shutters and the bathroom which has vanity area with sink and then seperate toilet and shower. This is an older hotel a little bit worn in places with a strange fragrant smell in hallways but generally well maintained, clean and definitely a better quality and standard than some of the older hotels on the strip. We didn't try any of the bars or buffet so can't comment. Good value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Love Main Street Station! The best place ever for a variety of video poker! If you’re a video poker fan GO HERE! Everything for every player. We ate at the 777 brewery …it was good. We almost didn’t go back to the buffet on Easter Sunday because of how disappointing it was in 2023. However, I’m glad we decided to try it again this year. It was excellent this year! All four of us said it was back to what it used to be. Plus they added some new dishes which was really great! I highly recommend Main Street Station.

Love this property -- decor is roughly from the Gilded Age as they preserved the fixtures and fittings of the original train station that was at this site. Interesting sculpture and artifacts dotted throughout the property, in the Garden Court Buffet restaurant, even a section of the Berlin Wall in the men's restroom! Just off the Fremont Street Experience -- Work a visit.

If you expect housekeeping, don't book here

Pros: plush mattress, room recently updated, location. Cons: getting housekeeping service is like pulling teeth, loud noises from trains. Booked a stay for 12 nights. We don't need daily housekeeping and only wanted housekeeping service 3 times during our stay. Hotel info in the room suggests several ways to request housekeeping: remove "Do Not Disturb" sign before 12:30 pm, contact the housekeeping department, or ask a team member. We used all three methods but each housekeeping service required requests over several days. Sheets were changed only once on the 10th day of our stay. Housekeeping staff called to apologize for lack of service on the 10th day. What did they offer us for our inconvenience? A free meal? Free cocktails? Gambling voucher? Nope. They offered us one cup of coffee. One cup for both of us. This is the only hotel out of about 10 we have stayed at in the past year that did not follow up with a customer feedback survey after our stay. I think I know why. If you like housekeeping during your stay, you might want to seek lodging elsewhere. And if Main Street Station tries to respond here with an apology or explanation, remember that we were there, in person, for 12 days and the only outreach we received was a housekeeping staff member offering us a cup of coffee.

Damaged our belongings, will do nothing.

I stayed here for CES. Upon arrival, I went in for a cart to bring in our belongings and products for CES. I asked the bellman for a cart but he would not let me use one unless he was doing it. So he came outside with me, helped load the cart, then took everything to our room while I parked the car. When I got to the room, one of our products for demonstrations at CES was damaged. I took photos, submitted a report, and everything was on camera. Despite this, they will do nothing. Unethical business practices. Will not stay here or at any Boyd Gaming hotels in the future.
